Women’s beginners sessions in the new year

Kick off your new year by trying traditional Taekwondo at our women’s beginners sessions! This is a great opportunity to try out a martial art in a friendly environment with other beginners. If you’ve made a resolution about fitness, fun and/or feminism, our beginners sessions for women are ideal for you. No experience necessary!

Key information

  • Where: Queen Edith Community Primary School, Cambridge CB18QP – see on Google Maps
  • When: Fridays, 6.30-7.30pm, starting on 10th January 2020, final session on 28th February
  • Why: Martial arts are brilliant for bringing communities together with fun, friendship, feminism and a bit of fitness. You will learn to break boards!
  • Who: Instructors Anna & Joanna will be running newbie sessions to welcome new members into the MAUL family.
  • What to bring/wear: loose tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt – don’t worry about footwear, as we’ll be barefoot – and perhaps a bottle of water
  • How much: free if you need it to be – first class is always free for everyone and we run on voluntary donations after that so that all our members have the opportunity to train. We are volunteer-run and do not operate for profit.
